The Twin Falls Senior Center cordially invites you to attend a luncheon to discuss the shortfall of funding for the meal programs. The Center along with other Senior Centers within the State are having difficulty raising funds to keep their doors open. This meeting is to educate City, County and State representatives about the need for additional funding to stabilize the congregate and home-delivered meal programs, so the Centers can stay in operation.
The meeting will be held at the Twin Falls Senior Center on Thursday, December 19th beginning at 11:45 am. Lunch will be available for those attending the meeting. Please RSVP if you plan to attend (this will help with seating and meal preparation) to the Center’s Executive Director, Jeanette Roe at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support of seniors in our area! Serving our community one heart at a time through congregate and Meals on Wheels programs is such a small cost to keep Seniors living independently in their own homes compared to the larger negative economic impact to our community’s overloaded essential services – ie: emergency room situations, hospital admissions and/or calls for fire & police departments, quick response, and ambulance services, and assisted living facilities.
If you have any questions or need further information, please call Jeanette Roe at 208-734-5084. We look forward to seeing you at this important luncheon meeting!
